In the February 16 episode on SmackDown, The Rock officially joined The Bloodline and explained his heel turn. The Rock followed this up by warning Cody Rhodes that he will ensure that he exits WrestleMania as the loser.

Rhodes will take on his cousin Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 40 in April.

In February “The The People’s Champion” was on social media to post the video from his SmackDown appearance as well as a comment about the evening. He wrote:

He’s back.

Greatness is a sin.

Devil disrupts.

Always speak the truth.

Even when he is lying.

Record-breaking crowd.

Thank you SALT LAKE CITY.

Mana. Energy. Eruption. Chills.
