During her recent appearance on MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, WWE superstar Becky Lynch dropped a surprising revelation about her career choices. Despite her iconic status in WWE, Lynch confessed that she had seriously contemplated joining TNA Wrestling earlier in her career.

As she discussed her new memoir, ‘Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Girl,’ Lynch delved into the pivotal moments of her career. She revealed that there was a time when TNA Wrestling was a compelling option for her before she ultimately signed with WWE.

Reacting to Lynch’s disclosure, TNA Wrestling took to social media to highlight her praise for their approach to women’s wrestling, particularly spotlighting their Knockouts division.

Accompanying the shared clip was a caption quoting Lynch: “My goal was maybe I can get into TNA because the way that they were treating women there was so much better.”

In other news related to MMA Hour, Ariel Helwani announced an upcoming WWE interview scheduled for Monday, April 1. CM Punk, in his first live extended interview since rejoining WWE and departing AEW, will be the guest.

Helwani assured fans that the interview with Punk would be unrestricted and candid, promising, “no restrictions, nothing off limits, no holds barred, nothing is taboo.”

As for Lynch, her focus remains on her impending showdown against Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 40 next weekend.
