In a surprising turn of events on the latest WWE NXT episode aired on December 5, it seems that a new role has been unveiled for a prominent WWE star. Ava, also known as Simone Johnson, daughter of the legendary Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, made a significant impact throughout the night, taking on a role that closely resembled that of a General Manager.
Having been noticeably absent from television since the disbandment of the Schism faction, Ava made a triumphant return in the past couple of weeks. During the episode, she intervened in a confrontation in the women’s locker room and then announced her intention to approach Shawn Michaels to arrange a match.
Later in the show, Ava personally revealed to the audience that NXT Deadline would feature a steel cage match between Kiana James and Roxanne Perez, a match she had successfully brokered.
In a separate development, NXT Anonymous sowed seeds of uncertainty in Trick Williams’ mind regarding Carmelo Hayes and a potential alliance with Lexis King. Hayes assured Trick that he would address the situation by discussing it with Ava. Subsequently, Melo informed Trick that Ava had arranged a match for him at NXT Deadline against Lexis King.

On a different note, unrelated to Ava’s involvement, Tyler Bate emerged as the ‘last chance’ entrant in the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge after winning a fatal four-way match against Carmelo Hayes, Eddy Thorpe, and Joe Coffey.
Earlier in the evening, Fallon Henley secured her place in the women’s division ‘last chance’ four-way, claiming victory.
