Recent revelations shed light on Ronda Rousey’s interactions behind the scenes as she gears up to bid adieu to WWE, with significant emphasis on her dynamic with Vince McMahon.

Rousey’s final foray into the WWE ring occurred at SummerSlam 2023, where she grappled with Shayna Baszler in a high-stakes MMA Rules clash, ultimately succumbing to defeat.

In a candid interview, Ronda Rousey didn’t hold back in airing her grievances with WWE, particularly calling out John Laurinaitis, Bruce Prichard, and the WWE Chairman himself, Vince McMahon.

Insights from Dave Meltzer’s latest report in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter unveil a palpable shift in Rousey’s sentiments towards Vince McMahon as her WWE tenure drew to a close, with sources close to her confirming a deep-seated disdain.

Despite her strained relationship with Vince, it’s notable that Rousey maintained amicable ties with Stephanie McMahon and expressed admiration for Triple H (Paul Levesque), as outlined by Meltzer:

“Another source familiar with the situation highlighted Rousey’s perception of WWE’s environment as inherently misogynistic, which fueled her growing animosity towards Vince McMahon. Nonetheless, her rapport with Stephanie remained intact, and she held Triple H in high esteem.”

Furthermore, it’s disclosed that Rousey’s admiration extends beyond WWE, as she continues to hold Dana White in high regard.

Since taking on the role of WWE’s Chief Content Officer in July 2022, Triple H has been instrumental in steering WWE Creative, marking a transition from Vince McMahon’s intermittent involvement, now absent following his departure from the company.
