The replacement commentator for WWE NXT Vengeance Day 2024 has just been unveiled.
On February 4, WWE NXT commentator Booker T made the unfortunate announcement that he would be missing the brand’s premier Premium Live Event of 2024: NXT Vengeance Day, along with the next few weeks of NXT TV. Booker shared the news on Twitter, explaining that a medical procedure necessitated his absence. Despite this setback, Booker reassured fans that he is in good health and will be back on @WWENXT in no time, expressing gratitude for the support received.
In a recent update, it appears that SmackDown’s Wade Barrett will be stepping in for Booker during his temporary absence.
Corey Brennan from Fightful broke the news on Twitter, stating, “I’ve been told Wade Barrett will be on the call tonight for #NXTVengeanceDay.” While it’s not confirmed whether Barrett will also cover NXT TV until Booker’s return, Brennan noted that Barrett is well-acquainted with the NXT commentary booth, having previously worked alongside Vic Joseph for two years between August 2020 and October 2022.
It isn’t clear at this time if Wade will be Booker’s replacement until Booker returns to TV.

I will not be at #NXTVengenceDay tonight and I’ll be off TV the next couple weeks due to a medical procedure I had to have. But – I’m all good and I’ll be back in action on @WWENXT in no time! Thank you all for your support, couldn’t do it with out the people. Shucky Ducky!
