Changes

Triple H is the one responsible for driving 99.9 percent of WWE creative direction. McMahon isn’t currently involved in the creative process because Emanuel has decided to let Triple H stay in charge of the creative process without interference from McMahon making last-minute adjustments.

In the last month, McMahon sold $700 million in TKO stock. It was reported that the 8.4 million shares sold accounted for about 25% of McMahon’s stake in TKO. The sale prompted some to ask about McMahon’s longevity with WWE.

The report

Sports Illustrated reported today that they had been informed by sources from WWE that McMahon does not have plans to quit the company. McMahon believed to be in need of cash available, and so the company sold a large portion of his shares. It’s not clear why he needed the cash.

Sources also indicated that McMahon does not plan to leave the company “McMahon still wields great power in the company.”

McMahon’s relationship with Emanuel remains positive after the decision was taken to Triple H to be in charge of creativity and non-interference.
