Current AEW Champion Sidelined by Visa Issues

A cloud looms over the current wrestling scene as one of AEW’s champions finds himself unable to compete in the United States due to visa complications.

Kyle Fletcher, who seized the ROH Television Championship at ROH Final Battle in December, is currently grappling with visa troubles, preventing him from stepping into the ring for either AEW or Ring of Honor. Fletcher rose to prominence after Samoa Joe relinquished the title.

Despite his alignment with the Don Callis Family in recent storylines, Fletcher has been conspicuously absent from action since his clash with Chris Jericho on Dynamite at the end of January.

As per reports from Fightful Select, Fletcher’s visa issues have temporarily halted his momentum, disrupting what had been a promising singles run, especially in the absence of his injured partner, Mark Davis.

Prior to this setback, AEW had been pleased with Fletcher’s performances and had been gearing him up for a showdown with Ethan Page over the ROH Television Championship.

Regrettably, Fletcher isn’t the solitary AEW Champion facing adversity, with both ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta and AEW TBS Champion Julia Hart currently sidelined due to injuries.
