Mercedes Mone is back training.
The countdown is now on in anticipation of Mercedes Mone’s return the ring following her injury.
The journey
Mone is scheduled to return to the ring soon to compete in New Japan Pro Wrestling as she’s still on contract with the organization. It is also possible that she will debut in her AEW debut once she’s back. The ex- WWE star was caught on camera during watching the fans at All In from Wembley Stadium.
As reported previously that she would have made her debut on AEW during the TD Garden Blood and Guts episode of Dynamite in her hometown of Boston, MA, if she hadn’t been injured.
Mone underwent surgery to repair her broken ankle about a month ago. She suffered the injury while playing that was to be the NJPW’s inaugural Female Champion. Her original plan was to be the first woman to cross during the match, but she decided to cancel the plans.

This week, Mone released footage of her training in the ring for the second time through her YouTube channel with the caption, “The countdown begins.”
