Rhea Ripley Sets the Stage for WrestleMania 40 Showdown Against Becky Lynch
WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley has sent an email to her speculated competitor for WrestleMania 40, which is scheduled for April.
The Judgment Day member holding gold for nearly a year, the fans are anticipating Ripley’s game on April 6 and 7 to get a massive spotlight.
Talking to Denise Salcedo, Rhea Ripley discussed the possibility of defending her crown to Becky Lynch at this year’s event of shows.
Sending a message to Lynch, Ripley said:
“I believe it’s obvious that it will be a huge deal. Becky’s a person I’ve seen before I was able to make it into WWE and, later on, while I was in WWE Becky is one I’ve been paying close attention to and she’s created so many history of her own. I’d love to be in the ring alongside Becky.
“But in addition a side note, Becky how does it feel like to step into the arena together with Rhea Ripley? Are you feeling excited? Are you worried? Are you scared? Are you doubting yourself? Perhaps you ought to.”
Recent reports indicate that the Ripley Lynch vs. Lynch title match was scheduled for several months.
Lynch confronted Ripley in the January 15 episode of Raw to inform Ripley that she needed to show herself that she is capable of taking the title away from her.
The Man came to a halt during the January 27 Royal Rumble match, which Damage CTRL’s Bayley took home.
