The Undertaker’s Analysis of Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns WrestleMania 40 Clash

The Undertaker, a WWE legend, has provided his analysis on the upcoming WrestleMania 40 main event clash featuring Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns.

Despite The Undertaker’s podcast episode for his Six Feet Under podcast being recorded before the latest developments at the WrestleMania 40 kickoff media event, his insights carry weight.

Delving into the segment where Cody Rhodes announced on WWE SmackDown his decision to essentially defer his WrestleMania 40 match against Roman Reigns to The Rock, The Undertaker conveyed his understanding towards Rhodes.

The Undertaker said:

“I wanted to hear Cody’s promo. It was great. It was so good and I was so invested. When he said, ‘… just not at WrestleMania,’ my freaking heart sunk into my stomach because I knew at that moment what was about to happen.

“Believe me, money-wise, having The Rock at WrestleMania, brother, come on, against Roman who has been Champion for what, 13 years now? Samoan versus Samoan. It’s huge and it is what it is.”

Although the Undertaker would go on to praise Cody Rhodes for how he handled the situation in the moment.

Taker said:

“Knowing and being in that situation a couple of times myself during my career, for Cody to go out and to deliver the promo that he delivered last night, I felt for him.

“I felt that not in my stomach because, like I said, I had been there before, and he did it like a champ. He did it so professionally.”

While fans eagerly await further commentary from The Undertaker regarding the WrestleMania 40 narrative, excitement brews for additional appearances by The Rock.

It has been confirmed that The Rock will appear on the Friday, February 16 edition of SmackDown. With the night set for a double taping, speculation arises that The Rock might make dual appearances ahead of the forthcoming premium live event, WWE Elimination Chamber.
