WWE CM Punk had his Raw return promo cut short

Details about the Backstage are available.

In the evening of Monday CM Punk made an appearance in the finale of WWE Raw in his debut promotional appearance since his return to WWE on the Survivor Series premium live event in which he announced that he had returned home.

The promotion

Punk was only given a few minutes to discuss what he has learned and transformed into a new person. He claimed he’s returning to finish his business and to show his fans that he’s the top of the line.

A lot of fans believed it was different Punk from the one we’d seen in AEW and joked about it being an PG version of Punk’s character.

The report

PW insider says the original idea was to have a longer promo, giving Punk additional time. But the Randy Orton vs. Dominik Mysterio show was more than the time-frame was planned. WWE reduced Punk’s time and it is something is commonplace on a daily occasion due to the fact that it was live on television.

Punk performed a shorter promo than was originally scheduled. In addition, there were no any plans to allow Punk to attack AEW and Tony Khan.
