WWE CM Punk has not been assigned to a specific brand

CM Punk has been a no-cost agent

WWE

CM Punk was a guest on his home on the USA Network this past Monday evening on Raw however that does not necessarily mean that he’s been selected to be a part in the brand red.

PW Insider reports that Punk is identified as an “free agent” on the internal WWE roster. This means that Punk can be seen in Raw and SmackDown. Raw as well as SmackDown. Naturally, there are times when we’ve had wrestlers from different brands in the past, but generally speaking the rosters remain distinct for the duration of the time.

In the case of Punk at least for the moment we can anticipate him appearing on both Raw on Raw and in SmackDown. Punk appears to be heading towards a fight in the ring with Seth Rollins and that appears to be a fight that will be put off until WrestleMania which is why one can think that he will be the main character on Raw as the storyline begins to kick off.

Justin Barrasso at Sports Illustrated stated that Punk fights. Roman Reigns is planned following the Rollins feud. In the beginning, Punk would then appear most often in his SmackDown brand.

Punk’s return on Monday was a huge success. The return of the rapper attracted 1884,000 viewers for his overnight show which is a significant increase from the last week’s 1,459,000 overnight viewers. The most popular demo was 0.56 which is up by 0.49 overnight count. WWE is obviously happy with this and as we move into WrestleMania year in January it is expected that the numbers will continue to rise as they don’t have to compete with Monday Night Football.
