Today’s mass firings take place at the headquarters of the company
Brandon Thurston is reporting that there were massive layoffs yesterday at the WWE headquarters of the company.
The exact number of employees dismissed today is not known however, this is in line with the 100+ employees who were dismissed in September following the TKO merger was officially announced. It is unclear if this will be a ripple effect to talent rehires however, as we mentioned previously, NXT backstage interviewer McKenzie Mitchell was fired today.
The firings and cuts are not a surprise because the company is attempting to reduce redundancies across diverse departments. If we learn of hiring announcements, we’ll update this page on WrestlingNews.co
