CM Punk is back with WWE and, while things appear to be good in the background for him, the organization has taken steps to ensure that things will remain that way.

As we’ve mentioned, Punk was in good mood backstage in the midst of Monday Night Raw in Nashville and was willing to meet with a variety of individuals backstage. According to reports, Punk was at his most professional manners. It’s also important to note that Punk did go beyond the call of duty to meet fans in the ring prior to his arrival at the area behind stage. He was hanging out in the area of the ring throughout the duration that a large portion of the arena had been emptied before he made it into the rear.

Frightful Select reported there were certain people within WWE who were informed by top management that the contract of Punk has the clause for behavior. This is logical considering that Punk was at war in the past with WWE managers during his previous stint with the company. There were also reported issues on the stage in AEW With The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, Jack Perry, Tony Khan and other members of the organization.

In regards to Punk’s promo being cut due to time issues, Frightful reported that he was fine and that there was no issue that were raised by Punk about this. Punk didn’t take shots at AEW during his show. People on social media said that If Punk will be confronting Seth Rollins heading into WrestleMania and the show on Monday could be the first sign of Punk changing his mind.
