The WWE roster has been expanded following the New Years Revolution SmackDown last night.
Roman Reigns’s Undisputed WWE Universal Championship was to be defended by Randy Orton, AJ Styles, LA Knight and LA Knight at the Royal Rumble in a Fatal Four-Way.
AOP and Paul Ellering made their debuts on the show, while former Raw Tag Team Champions AOP and Scarlett also returned.
Akam & Rezar have jumped Bobby Lashley’s Street Profits into the ring. Their first WWE TV appearance for almost four years.
AOP was re-signed with WWE over a period of a year but had yet to return to television.
Butch’s debut was made by Tyler Bate who, after 7 years on the main roster, finally joined Butch in his match against Pretty Deadly.
As a result of the show, Bate Ellering Akam Rezar and all the other members of SmackDown have been added to the WWE roster on their official website.
Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo have also returned to SmackDown, aligning themselves with Santos Escobar.
