WWE Sensation Charlotte Flair to Take Leave: Projected Nine-Month Intermission

As per the commentary for Tonight’s WWE SmackDown, Charlotte Flair is likely to miss action for several months after suffering an injury.

In the episode of December 8 of SmackDown, Asuka defeated Charlotte Flair in a flurry of distractions from Damage the CTRL’s Bayley.

In this fight, Flair got her leg stuck in the rope at the top. She was seen climbing toward the final stretch prior to being taken backstage by the officials and staff.

As reported previously, WWE announced that Charlotte was eliminated from the following weekend’s live shows.

The announcement now comes with confirmation Charlotte Flair has suffered an injury to her knee. She will be off for nine months.

In the other ring on tonight’s SmackDown Mia Yim as well as Asuka will battle one another on the show for the first-time in nearly 10 years in tag team battles.

Michin Mia Yim as well as Zelina Vega were the first to take off Asuka as well as Kairi Sane. They were they were billed by the Kabuki Warriors who had reestablished their tag team’s name from earlier.
