WWE legend and multiple-time Women’s Champion Mickie James has expressed her keen interest in witnessing The Rock versus Roman Reigns at WrestleMania.
In the latest episode of WWE Raw titled “Day 1,” The Rock made a highly anticipated return to the organization, engaging in a heated altercation with Jinder Mahal.
“The People’s Champion” concluded the show by dropping hints about a potential clash with the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and “Head of the Table,” Roman Reigns.
The impending match has garnered attention, particularly due to Cody Rhodes and his mission to “finish his story” by defeating Reigns and securing victory at WrestleMania 40.
During an appearance on Busted Open Radio, Mickie James expressed her preference for The Rock over Cody Rhodes in a potential match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. She shared:
“I have a deep admiration for Cody. He’s not just my best friend; he’s like a son to me, and I’m genuinely thrilled to witness his success.”
“He’s absolutely excelling. However, if given the chance, I would undoubtedly opt to watch Roman Reigns go up against Cody once again at WrestleMania, along with the initial clash between Roman and The Rock. My choice is definitely Roman and Rock.”
James concluded by emphasizing that she believes The Rock has rightfully earned the privilege to take center stage in the wrestling world. She stated:
“The Rock has carte blanche, and I genuinely believe he holds that authority in the wrestling realm to step onto any stage and call the shots.”
