In the main event of this week’s WWE Raw (January 15) against Jinder Mahal, Seth Rollins was visibly injured.

While details about the injury have been scarce, WWE has officially acknowledged concerns about Seth Rollins’ condition.

In a preview for the upcoming WWE Raw episode (January 22), announced during SmackDown, it was disclosed that Monday’s Raw will kick off with Seth Rollins.

Emphasizing that Seth Rollins will be the opening segment for Monday Night Raw, he is set to ‘address his future as World Heavyweight Champion.’

Initial reports suggested a potential torn MCL and partially torn meniscus for Rollins, but it remains uncertain whether surgery will be necessary, with the hope being to avoid it.

His expected time away from the ring is at least a few weeks, but there’s a slim chance of a return in time for WrestleMania if surgery is not deemed necessary.

Additionally, the upcoming WWE Raw episode will feature a face-to-face encounter between Cody Rhodes and CM Punk, who are on a collision course for the Royal Rumble.

Although Rhodes and Punk haven’t crossed paths in AEW, they share a Royal Rumble history, with their last encounter occurring in the 2014 WWE Royal Rumble, which marked Punk’s final match before departing WWE at that time.
